From July 21 to 26, 2026, a delegation from ABBB participated in the 41st edition of the Luanda International Fair (FILDA), held in the Luanda-Bengo Special Economic Zone, in Angola.

Under the motto " Produce and innovate locally, win globally ," FILDA 2026 once again established itself as an important platform for promoting business, investment, innovation, and economic partnerships in Angola and across the African continent.

A strategic platform for business and investment.

With over four decades of history, FILDA is currently one of Angola's main international economic events. The 2026 edition brought together companies, investors, institutions, and international partners around themes related to national production, economic diversification, innovation, and the internationalization of Angolan and African companies.

This edition featured significant international participation, bringing together representatives from various countries and sectors of activity, reinforcing FILDA's role as a space for meeting, dialogue, and developing new business opportunities.

The presence of ABBB

The participation of an ABBB delegation in FILDA 2026 is part of a strategy to strengthen the organization's presence in the main economic and institutional spaces of the continent.

This presence has allowed participation in exchanges with different stakeholders from the public and private sectors, the identification of new cooperation opportunities, and close monitoring of the dynamics that currently shape African markets.

Beyond the commercial dimension of FILDA, ABBB's participation also reflects its commitment to contributing to closer ties between African and international economic actors and to the creation of sustainable partnerships.

An environment conducive to partnerships.

FILDA 2026 was also marked by a strong institutional dimension, with the participation of representatives from the Angolan government and various public institutions. The launch ceremony of the 41st edition notably included the presence of the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Rui Miguêns de Oliveira, highlighting the strategic importance attributed to the event for the competitiveness and internationalization of the Angolan economy.

For ABBB, this institutional dimension represents a privileged space to develop dialogue, strengthen networks, and promote connections between institutions, companies, investors, and partners committed to the development of the continent.

A future-oriented vision

Participation in FILDA 2026 is therefore part of a broader vision: to keep pace with the dynamics of transformation in Africa, to encourage exchanges and to contribute to building bridges between the different stakeholders in the continent's economic development.

Through its delegation present in Luanda, ABBB reaffirms its commitment to initiatives that promote innovation, investment, cooperation and value creation in Africa.

FILDA 2026 thus represented a new opportunity for ABBB to strengthen its presence in African economic networks and pursue its commitment to stronger, more inclusive and future-oriented cooperation.
